Thursday, February 5th, 2009

Meet Zakumi, he is guide and a good friend for the visitors, fans, players during the World cup tournament 2010 South Africa. You will find him all the way during Soccer Mega Event. But how will you recognize him? Yeah, I have pasted his snap below. Hope that will help.

Btw what does Zakumi mean? ‘Zakumi’, a composition of ‘ZA’ standing for South Africa and ‘kumi’, which translates into ‘10′ in several languages in Africa.

Few words about Zakumi. He is friendly, warm-hearted, caring, self-confident, adventurous and actually quite shrewd tiny fellow. He loves to perform and always follows his instinct and intuition, yet sometimes has the tendency to exaggerate a bit. He loves making friends thats why till now he has become friends of millions of soccer fans across the world.

Btw I want to warn all the bad people out there. Do not ever try to create violence during the mega event. Else Zakumi will catch you and cause damage. He is very dangerous coz he is a big brother of Leopard. How come he is big brother of Leopard? Coz he’s got sense. His only goal is to maintain peace during the event and make that event successful and remarkable in the world cup history.

So friends meet Zakumi if you visit South Africa to enjoy World Cup Soccer 2010.
